The 8 week Acting on Camera class ended today as friends and family viewed the work the students had filmed during the class. It’s great for them to see the growth with their own eyes. Their honesty and focus increased rapidly as they began to understand the level of commitment  required to create powerful performances on screen. The next 6 week Acting on Camera class begins March 27th and there is still space available.

The Star Promotion information is on the website and posted in the theatre. Lot’s of interest right away and parents are already planning to create a marketing package for their kids. Professionally coached and produced audition video, amazing headshots, website creation and hosting, social networking optimization and graphic design iall n one amazing package.  WOW!!

MARCH 27 – MAY 1 Tuition $125

This class is held on Saturdays from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. It focuses on performance in acting, voice and movement specifically for the subtlety of the camera. A “film festival” will be scheduled at the end of the course.

This class is held on Saturdays from 10:00am – 1:00pm. It focuses on performance training in acting, voice and movement during rehearsals for the selected production scheduled at the end of the course.

Located near 281 & Brook Hollow at 15717 San Pedro, the facility will become fully operational in January 2010. The “flex space,” seating approximately 75, will house training and productions. It can be converted to accommodate differing production requirements including “theatre in the round.”   A Holiday Event, Broadway New Years Eve, is planned for December, 31, 2009 and additional information on the event will be available in the near future.  A full schedule of classes including Acting, Acting on Camera, Musical Theatre, Voice and Film Making will be announced shortly.
