GALA Event
Come and “Imagine the PASA-bilities” on June 8, 2013 as we celebrate the Grand Opening of our new space located a few doors down at 15705 San Pedro as well as raise money for new seating, a second camera, enhanced sound system, lighting, and keyboard. Performing Arts San Antonio (PASA) will hold their “Imagine the PASA-bilities” Gala and Auction on Saturday, June 8th from 7 to 10pm at their newly opened facilities at 15717 San Pedro, San Antonio. This event will feature live entertainment, including performances by past and present PASA students, a live auction and a silent auction. Refreshments will be served, including hors d’oeuvres, desserts and wine.

Live auction items include a semester of classes at PASA; a Hunting event; professional headshots; demo reel and film by SouthCoast Talent Management; extra role in SouthCoast Production’s next film; speaking role in SouthCoast production’s next film; talent management package from SouthCoast Talent Management, including headshots, web page and demo reel. Silent auction items include a variety of multi-item baskets with themes such as Summer Fun, Wine Lover, Picnic in the Valley, Get Fit, etc.
The Gala is also a celebration of the opening of a new, larger facility adjacent to the current space. Funds raised will be used to purchase new seating, a second camera, an enhanced sound system and specialized lighting equipment. The new location will provide a 100+ seat theatre with a much larger stage, 24 foot ceilings to fly backdrops, an on-site photographic studio and three new classrooms. The new stage can be conformed as proscenium, thrust or theatre in the round and will be available for rent to production companies and for corporate and community meetings. PASA has also announced the establishment of the PASA Voice Studio and will introduce music classes for the first time. Career guidance and counseling will be offered for parents with children pursuing the performing arts and a homeschool program will include the performing arts, music and voice.
