Barbara and Karen Divisek are one of the most sought-after and well-regarded casting director teams working in the entertainment industry. In a career spanning almost four decades, Divisek successfully cast over 4200 projects including film, TV, commercials, industrials, voice-overs, video games, and everything in between including platinum Madison Avenue advertising agencies as well as major studios and television networks. In addition, Karen worked for Lee Strasburg at The Actors Studio and a theatrical agency. They have earned a reputation for efficiency, effectiveness, and forthrightness. Hundreds of young, developing actors have benefitted from their wisdom, generous heart and look to them for positive guidance. Hollywood’s most seasoned actors benefit from her creativity, sound judgment, mutual professional respect and trust her exceptional eye for talent, laser-sharp focus on client service, and dazzling global network of contacts and resources. Barbara wore the agent and manager hat for a brief period and has now added producing to her long list of accomplishments. She has just completed two feature films and is in the process of developing several new projects. Karen was the on-set acting coach for three feature films.

Ray Bengston is at a noted still photographer and film director and his approach is both strategic and organic. As an educator, Bengston has taught at major Hollywood studios including Warner Bros., Walt Disney Studios, the SAG Conservatory, and many others. As an actor, Bengston has appeared on numerous TV series including 7TH HEAVEN, and most recently CSI: NY as well as in films. Along with directing for TV and film, he has edited and produced feature length and short films. Today, Bengston is considered an actor’s director, a colleague and collaborator. He also commands respect from his crews who admire his passion for the art of filmmaking and his willingness to roll up his sleeves and get the job done.
Working within the framework of story, he challenges the imagination of everyone he works with and encourages the discovery of nuances and beats and how they weave into the broader story.
